A square metre monochrome, Nappy Painting is a breathing organic grid inside a contemporary white frame.  The enlarged weft and warp of overlapping units opens the soft and slowly creaming interiors for inspection.  Making a virtue of entropy, the artwork both attracts and repels, inviting disclosure and debate.  During a year long exhibition at Massey University's new business incubator, post-it notes appeared on walls around the artwork, sparking an impromptu competition to name the artwork.
