Black Cloud 2009
A black monochrome, skimmed across the white canvas, hosts a pelt of magnetised steel pins. Where the dark surface attracts and absorbs, the pins refract and reflect light, and creep off the canvas edge, casting jagged shadows on the wall. A darkened landscape, Black Cloud supports a glittering and fragile silver lining.
